(It was taken on the Lower East Side in 1981.) It’s one of the pieces on view in the Museum of Modern Art’s exhibit “Looking at Music 3.0,” which opens today. The show focuses on New York’s art and music scenes in the ’80s and ’90s, with sections devoted to hip-hop, riot grrrl, digital media and more.
